PHYSICAL & LIFE SCIENCES STORYLINE MEMBERSHIP PROGRAMS

This annual membership allows participants to learn more about Three-Dimensional Learning in the science classroom and create storylines that can be used in those classroom.  Facilitators will include nationally recognized educators and lead authors of the Illinois Biology Storylines as well as content experts.  Come learn as part of a dynamic online community while creating innovative ground-breaking storylines!  Each participant will receive a unique login to access all ASEC professional learning materials for Biology, Chemistry and Physics!

  • Working groups now available for teachers of chemistry, physics, AP Biology, Anatomy & Physiology, and possibly more to come based on interest
     

  • Receive ongoing professional learning around the Three Dimensions/Next Generation Science Standards/National Framework over the course of one (1) year

  • Participate in online collaborative work around creating a storyline while growing your professional network

​

  • Receive acknowledge of co-authorship of materials that you have created that will be made available to science teachers everywhere

​

  • Receive a certificate of completion after the close of the full year for your professional portfolio

​

  • Potential opportunities to present work at conferences and other events

​

  • Optional Continuing Education Credits available for some states.
